Almita Piling is looking for a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll operate CNC and robotic plasma cutting equipment used to manufacture helical piles. You'll be responsible for machine setup, programming, reading work orders, maintaining product traceability, and producing quality parts safely and efficiently.

Location: Ponoka, AB

Shift: Monday to Thursday 4:30pm - 3:00am

Responsibilities

- Operate CNC and robotic plasma cutting equipment
- Set up machines and make adjustments as required
- Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and specifications
- Create and maintain machine programs for production
- Ensure programs are completed before work orders are released
- Operate overhead cranes and use proper rigging techniques to move materials
- Apply product markings and traceability labels
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections
- Monitor production output and meet quality and productivity targets
- Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures

Qualifications

Required:

- High school diploma
- Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial workplace
- Experience operating CNC or automated manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read work orders and manufacturing drawings
- Knowledge of machine programming or CNC programming software
- Strong commitment to safety and quality

Assets:





- Overhead crane and rigging experience
- Experience with robotic plasma cutting equipment
- Preventative maintenance experience

Working Conditions:

- Manufacturing environment
- Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and material handling
- Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Overtime may be required based on operational needs
- PPE required at all times
