Trofi is looking for the perfect service staff that wants to grow alongside us and see our restaurant successful. The position is a part-time commitment, as well as formal service experience. Here are some other details that should be considered before applying:

Job tasks

- Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables
- Serve food and beverages to guests
- Making recommendations if needed
- Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
- Record transactions in the point of sale system correctly and timely
- Operate debit/credit card terminal
- Cash handling
- Check-in with guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage
- Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies
- Clean dining room at the end of the service
- Brew coffee and tea as required
- Assist with making beverages

Qualifications





- Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
- Positive outlook and outgoing personality
- Previous serving experience is required
- This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Ensuring a skilled appearance in a clean uniform are also required
- Smart Serve certification
- Bilingual in both French and English an asset
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions/allergies

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
