Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and development of full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular/React, microservices, and APIs.
- Define and drive architecture standards, engineering best practices, and modernization initiatives.
- Design scalable event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka and asynchronous messaging patterns.
- Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, and architecture governance across multiple teams.
- Provide technical leadership for cloud-native applications, containerization, and platform modernization efforts.
- Drive implementation of CI/CD, automated testing, observability, resiliency, and security best practices.
- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Architecture, Product, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to deliver strategic technology solutions.
- Lead resolution of complex production issues, performance bottlenecks, and system scalability challenges.
- Ensure compliance with technology risk, security,



and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

- Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Java application development.
- Proven experience in a Lead Engineer or senior technical leadership role.
- Strong experience designing distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.

- Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
- Exposure to GenAI, Agentic AI, MCP, and AI-driven application integration.
- Knowledge of cloud modernization and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
