We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office operations and be proficient in managing front desk responsibilities. The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for handling patient inquiries, managing appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using Dentrix and electronic medical records systems.
- Answer multi-line phone systems, addressing patient inquiries and providing information about services.
- Maintain patient confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
- Process patient payments and insurance claims efficiently.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office.
- Keep the front desk area organized and welcoming for patients.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental office is preferred.
- Familiarity with Dentrix software and electronic medical records is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
- Strong administrative experience with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems effectively.
