Product Sourcing Virtual Internship

GAO Research Inc. is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Chinese-speaking students or recent graduates located in Canada to join our Product Sourcing team as virtual interns. This position offers an excellent chance to gain real-world experience in market research, supply chain operations, vendor communications, and AI-supported sourcing strategies.

Duration: 3-6 months

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging trends, evaluate potential suppliers, and explore new product opportunities.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers and support internal collaboration across departments.
- Accurately document product information and generate reports reflecting key sourcing data and metrics.
- Assess and verify product samples to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Proactively engage in learning opportunities related to product sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management.





Qualifications

- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Technology, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is required for communication with clients and partners in China.
- Knowledge of Chinese business culture and communication styles is a strong asset for this role.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and work independently in a remote, fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Motivated, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a collaborative and innovative team.
