Peace Valley Line Locating is hiring Line Locating Technicians and Line Locating Assistants in Fort St. John, BC.

Qualifications

- Must be able to pass pre-employment, pre-access, and post-incident drug testing
- Excellent physical fitness
- Enjoy working outdoors in all seasons
- Current safety tickets: CSO, H₂S, and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience operating ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles is an asset
- Motivated, reliable, and willing to learn

We are seeking individuals who are driven and eager to grow within our company. This position offers a clear pathway to advance from Line Locating Assistant to Line Locating Technician through training and skill development.

Responsibilities – Line Locating Assistants





- Assist Line Locating Technicians in completing locates as directed
- Help maintain vehicles and equipment to ensure they remain in safe, working condition
- Safely use hand tools as required for the job
- Actively participate in the company’s safety program and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Perform shop duties as required to support operations
