A skilled kitchen brigade member is needed for Locals Restaurant in Courtenay. We are renowned for providing an outstanding dining experience using locally sourced, prime ingredients, with most everything made from scratch, in house.
The successful applicant:
- Is a skilled cook with formal training and industry experience
- Is an enthusiastic team member and leads by example
- Is passionate about cooking and is creative
- Has an excellent eye for detail and has exemplary food safety skills
- Comfortable when giving positive feedback and eager to mentor others
- Has a calm demeanor, dealing well in a fast past, demanding work environment
Salary is negotiable, or an hourly wage between $25-$29/hour based on level of experience.
As the hours of work can extend beyond public transportation service hours, you must have guarantee transportation.
