We're currently hiring dependable and motivated Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to help us deliver top-quality meals and excellent service.

Job Overview

As a Line Cook or Prep Cook at The Basilico, you'll be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items to standard, and working closely with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth, efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook dishes from both Italian and South Asian menus
- Follow standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
- Set up and maintain clean, stocked stations
- Assist in daily prep tasks: slicing, marinating, portioning, etc.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Communicate clearly with team members and management




- Follow opening/closing procedures as scheduled

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred
- Familiarity with Italian or South Asian cuisine is a plus
- Ability to follow recipes and kitchen protocols
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Weekend and evening availability required
