Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NDT Drill Pipe Inspector / Shop Foreman to oversee quality assurance and inspection processes within our facility. This leadership role requires a strong background in quality management, and inspection techniques, with the ability to lead a team and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analysis skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards for drill pipes and related components. This position is responsible for overseeing daily shop operations while performing and supervising the inspection, repair, and maintenance of drill pipe and BHA.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform NDT inspections on drill pipe and BHA in accordance with industry standards.
- Conduct visual inspections, EMI inspections, and other required testing procedures.
- Ensure all inspections, repairs, and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Supervise shop personnel and coordinate daily workflow.
- Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with company and customer specifications.
- Schedule and prioritize work to meet customer deadlines.




- Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with training and mentoring shop personnel.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in drill pipe inspection and oilfield tubular services.
- Valid ASNT or CGSB Level 2 certification MT/PT/UT/EMI required.
- Strong knowledge of DS-1 standards and industry inspection practices.
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a shop environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must speak English
