- MUST HOLD - Valid 309A Electrician (Construction and Maintenance) Certificate of Qualification

- Working at Heights Training

-Elevated Work Platform Training

-Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps Certificate

- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate

- Confined Spaces Entry Training

- Current WHMIS Certificate

- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS)

- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- 5 years (or more) experience

- Must have own tools/equipment (hand tools, safety gear, steel-toed boots, hard hat)

- Valid driver’s licence (driving record check/abstract required)

- Police check required

SPECIFIC SKILLS

- Install underground wiring and cables

- Install, replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes

- Splice, join and connect wires





- Test and measure voltage loads, ground faults integrity of circuits

- Troubleshoot and isolate faults

- Install surface mount and/or overhead cables

- Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems

- Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs

- Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures

- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $33.00-$40.00 per hour

Experience:

- Journeyman Electrician: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (required)
