Key Responsibilities:

- Provide full scope of practice as a family physician
- Participate in shared call coverage for Urgent Treatment Centre
- Cover patient needs at local Nursing Home consistently




- Engage optionally in Community Hospitalist Program at Strait Richmond Hospital
- Uphold quality of practice according to Medical Staff Bylaws

Requirements:

- Eligible for licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons
- Certification with College of Family Physicians of Canada required
- Membership with Canadian Medical Protective Association necessary
- 24-hour call coverage required for Urgent Treatment Centre
- Passion for community-centered health care in Nova Scotia
