Eaton’s Electrical Services and Sales divisions delivers critical power system services across Canada, supporting customers through installation, maintenance, and emergency response. The Regional EHS Manager serves as the Canadian EHS leader for Services and Sales operations, accountable for driving a zero-incident culture and ensuring the safe execution of work across a geographically dispersed, field-based workforce. This role provides strategic direction, operational oversight, and people leadership for all Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) activities across Canada, including direct management and development of EHS personnel. The role supports multiple business units with varied operational risk profiles, requiring strong adaptability and cross-functional influence. This position operates in a hybrid, field-based model and requires consistent in-person presence at Eaton facilities (minimum three days per week) and regular travel to customer sites. The Regional EHS Manager reports directly to the Director, EHS EESS Division.Job Responsibilities
EHS Leadership & Strategy
Lead and manage all EHS activities across Canada for Services and Sales operationsProvide strategic leadership to drive a proactive, zero-incident safety cultureDirectly manage, coach, and develop assigned EHS personnel, including performance management, capability building, and succession planningPartner with operational leadership to identify safety exposures and implement effective mitigation strategiesMonitor safety performance trends and take initiative to drive continuous improvementServe as a subject matter expert on industry, regulatory, and technical safety topicsIncident Management & Compliance
Lead internal/external reporting of, and support operations with, incident management processes, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actionsEnsure alignment with Eaton policies, MESH requirements,



and applicable regulatory standardsSupport compliance with Federal and Provincial regulations (e.G., OHSA, CSA, ESA)Field Engagement & Operational Support
Maintain a strong and visible field presence through regular engagement at Eaton facilities and customer sitesProvide practical guidance to field teams on safe work practices and hazard identificationConduct safety audits, field observations, and site visits across a geographically dispersed regionSupport local leadership teams in implementing and reviewing customer-specific safety requirementsTraining & Capability Development
Deliver and coordinate required safety training, ensuring compliance and completion across the workforcePartner with training teams to define, track, and continuously improve EHS training programsBuild field capability through coaching, mentoring, and structured development approachesProgram Development & Continuous Improvement
Develop and deploy scalable safety programs for a distributed and remote workforceLead regular safety communications, including safety meetings and awareness initiativesIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance safety performanceCollaboration & Governance
Act as the primary EHS interface for Canadian Services and Sales operationsCollaborate with EHS leaders across North America and other global regions to ensure alignment with regional strategies and standardsLead cross-functional engagement across operations, engineering, and commercial teamsDrive consistency in EHS execution across multiple business units with varying operational requirementsQualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in an EHS roleFamiliarity with Federal and Provincial regulations (e.G., OHSA, CSA, ESA)Ability to travel up to 40% within CanadaValid and unrestricted driver’s licenceAbility to travel to the United States as requiredCandidate must reside within 80 km of an Eaton Services facility and be able to support a hybrid model that includes regular in-office/field presencePreferred Qualifications
Professional safety certification:



Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Health & Safety Technician (CHST) and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)Strong knowledge of electrical safety, including Arc Flash and Control of Hazardous EnergyExperience supporting a remote or field-based workforce. Experience in the electrical or industrial services industryExperience developing and implementing safety programsFamiliarity with tools such as Benchmark, Power BI, and SalesforceFamiliarity with Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principlesExperience leading cross-regional projects and change management initiativesFamiliarity with contractor management platforms (e.G., ISN, Avetta)Bilingual capability (English required;
French considered a strong asset, particularly for Quebec-based support). Ability to operate effectively in English across the majority of the workforce is essentialExperience managing direct reportsAdditional Information
