CLAIMS MANAGER / CGL ADJUSTER - 119Location:
TorontoDescription
CLAIMS MANAGER / CGL ADJUSTER
This is not your average claims role. If you’ve been grinding away in a large insurance company — doing the same type of file on repeat, following a checklist someone else designed, and waiting three levels up for a process change that will never come — this opportunity was built for someone exactly like you.Our client is a specialized insurer with a tight-knit, collaborative team looking for a sharp, curious, and communicative Claims Manager/CGL Adjuster to join them in a senior, high-impact role. You’ll report directly to a Vice President who has 20 years of litigation and in‑house insurance experience and genuinely wants to mentor the right person. If the idea of working in an environment where your voice actually shapes how things get done — and where you’re trusted to think, not just tick boxes — sounds like a relief, keep reading.About the Role
Reporting to the VP of Claims, you will take full ownership of the Claims function, handling a diverse and interesting portfolio of third‑party liability, property, vehicle, and personal injury claims. You will also supervise a Claims Adjuster and contribute meaningfully to department strategy. This is a genuinely broad role. You’ll become a versatile expert across multiple claim types — not a specialist locked into one lane. The right person will see that breadth as one of the most exciting parts of the job. What You’ll Do
