We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer with strong expertise in .NET Core, API development, and SQL Server to build and support enterprise banking applications. The ideal candidate has experience working in banking environments, robust backend development skills, and excellent communication abilities.

What you'll do

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET Core
- Build and support scalable backend applications for banking platforms
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures
- Work in Linux environments and develop automation scripts using Perl and Shell scripting
- Integrate APIs using Apigee and enterprise API management solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions





What you bring

- 8 10 years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core and API development
- Expertise in SQL Server and database development
- Experience working with Linux, Perl, and Shell scripting
- Knowledge of Apigee or similar API management platforms
- Banking or Financial Services project experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to have

- Experience with FIS API development
- Exposure to enterprise integration platforms and API gateways

Work setup

- Location: Toronto, ON or Vancouver, BC
- Work Type: Hybrid (2 4 days per week onsite)
- Duration: 6 12 Month Contract
