Role Description The Cafe Supervisor is a full time, on-site role located in Mississauga Canada, responsible for overseeing daily café operations and supporting a high-quality guest experience. This role includes supervising and coaching café team members, coordinating shift schedules, and ensuring consistent adherence to company standards and food safety regulations.

The Cafe Supervisor monitors product quality, manages inventory and ordering, and supports cash handling and reconciliation. The role also involves assisting with merchandising, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns promptly. The Cafe Supervisor collaborates with management to meet sales targets,



implement promotions, and foster a positive, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

- Experience in café, restaurant, or retail supervision, including staff direction, shift coordination, and basic scheduling.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, and ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace.
- Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience, including basic reconciliation and attention to numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work full-time, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in specialty coffee and willingness to learn about products, preparation methods, and brand standards.
- Previous leadership experience and a collaborative, inclusive approach to coaching and motivating team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in hospitality, business, or a related field is an asset.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada; additional language skills beyond English or French are considered an advantage.
