OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Consolidated Gypsum Supply is a Western Canadian supplier of building materials. We are currently recruiting for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Red Deer.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

- Drive sales growth and increase volume for assigned accounts within assigned territory.
- Solicit orders from both current and prospective customers.
- Proactively seek new customers.
- Build strong, longterm relationships through regular calls, onsite meetings, and responsive support. Travel is required.
- Carry out merchandising programs as directed.
- Identify customer needs, resolve issues, and deliver solutions that drive loyalty.
- Adhere to company policies and guidelines to achieve sales objectives and maximize profitability.
- Stay informed about market trends and recommend product additions or adjustments.
- Contribute to the development of sales forecasts.
- Maintain up-to-date customer records in compliance with company standards.




- Prepare and submit call and expense reports as required.
- Recommend new product additions and suggest modifications or discontinuations of existing products.
- Participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions and trade shows as required.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

- High school diploma, post secondary preferred
- Previous sales experience, in particular B2B (building materials, an asset)
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent time and territory management skills
- Excellent organizational skills and superior attention to detail
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
