As a part of the Mac Kinnon Academic Advising Office, you will help undergraduate students manage their academic journeys, ensuring they make informed decisions on course selections and degree paths. Your role will include fostering a supportive atmosphere for students to voice their concerns and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide academic advising for timely progression
- Conduct individual meetings with students for academic guidance
- Assist with academic request reviews and approvals
- Maintain accurate advising records and graduation checks
- Engage with campus resources for student referrals

Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree with a focus on mental health support
- 2-3 years prior advising or counseling experience
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to respond to distressing student situations
- Familiarity with academic policies and regulations
