About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to spearhead the establishment and growth of a newly formed, industry-focused, not-for-profit organization. The successful candidate will be instrumental in leading the implementation of the company's cleantech strategy, with a strong emphasis on supporting the competitiveness, commercialization, and global expansion of the sector. This role requires a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader with a team-oriented, ecosystem-minded approach, and a proven track record in senior leadership within economic development, innovation ecosystems, or related fields. The Executive Director will work closely with the independent Board of Directors to ensure the organization's activities are firmly industry-driven,



and will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, as well as serving as the central hub for ecosystem coordination.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include refining and activating the cleantech strategy in a way that delivers tangible private-sector outcomes, driving success across the full innovation continuum, and championing the company's value proposition at local, national, and international levels. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting commercialization, startups, scale-ups, or export-driven growth, and while direct cleantech expertise is an asset, it is not a mandatory requirement.
