Description

As an automation qualified, the desired applicant will share MPE’s vision to provide industry-leading services to our clients throughout Saskatchewan and Western Canada. The position primarily focuses on PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations;
however, a diverse background in automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is also required.

Mandatory Qualifications Are As Follows

- Programming experience with a variety of automation software and hardware.
- Willingness to travel to support maintenance and commissioning tasks.
- Availability for PLC, SCADA Systems, and related communications emergency support.




- Diploma or Degree in an electrical or automation-related program from an accredited post-secondary institution.

Preference will be placed for candidates who also have the following qualifications:
- Licensed or eligible for licensing or certification with APEGS/TPSK.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Background in electrical & instrumentation systems.
- Experience with municipal & industrial process systems.
- Experience with industrial networking & cybersecurity.
- Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

Minimum of two years of combined experience in positions related to the above preference and mandatory qualifications.
