CNC Machinist

About the Position

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is looking for a CNC machinist to join their production team. You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision parts that meet technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering plans
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (lathes, milling machines, machining centers)
- Make the necessary adjustments to ensure the accuracy of the parts produced
- Check the quality of parts using measuring instruments (micrometer, calipers, etc.)
- Perform basic equipment maintenance
- Comply with current health and safety standards




- An asset: proficiency in Mastercam software for toolpath programming

Profile

Desired

- DEP in machining or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist
- Good knowledge of reading mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of Mastercam is a significant asset
- Attention to detail and rigorous quality control
- Autonomy and ability to work in a team
