Join CORAL as a part-time Conservation Prospect Scoping Consultant in Hawai‘i, where you'll support coral reef health through strategic assessments of marine stewardship and sediment management.
CORAL is committed to enhancing coral reefs in Hawai‘i by advancing watershed solutions and strengthening protected areas. This consultancy offers a unique opportunity to research community stewardship and sedimentation within a 3-month timeline.

Your role will involve combining strategic analysis with sustainable practices to create impactful policy pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

- Summarize marine governance and stewardship models
- Assess Native Hawaiian stewardship principles and practices
- Review ecological and cultural outcomes of marine management




- Identify key stakeholders and funding mechanisms
- Recommend partnership opportunities for effective management

Requirements:

- Experience in environmental science, ecology, or related fields
- Knowledge of marine stewardship and governance frameworks
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners
- Availability for a part-time consultancy within 3 months
