Position Overview

ID Technology Canada is seeking an experienced Press Operator to join our production team in Mississauga, ON. This role focuses on operating multi‑colour flexographic printing presses to produce high‑quality label products in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate multi‑colour flexographic printing presses to meet quality and production standards.
- Set up and tear down press jobs based on job specifications and production requirements.
- Load master rolls, monitor press performance, and make adjustments to ensure consistent print quality.
- Inspect output and troubleshoot issues related to print quality, registration, and color consistency.
- Remove finished rolls and waste materials safely and efficiently.
- Clean ink systems and press components between runs.
- Accurately record production data, including run times and footage.
- Package finished products in a neat and organized manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience operating flexographic printing presses.
- Experience with multi‑layer printing, peel and reseal label production, and turn bar applications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.




- Ability to read and interpret job specifications and production instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with color matching and print quality.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, using appropriate lifting equipment as required.
- Team‑oriented with robust communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Compensation & Benefits

$30.00 – $40.00/hour, based on experience.
