Become the Community Engagement Coordinator for FNHA in the Prince Rupert Area, focusing on First Nations health partnerships. Drive community engagement initiatives and support health needs through collaboration.
As a key facilitator, you will work within the Coast Ts'msyen territory and connect with the Gitga'at, Gitxaala, Lax Kw'alaams, and Metlakatla Nations. Your role will involve developing community-focused initiatives aimed at identifying and addressing health care needs while collaborating with local leaders and organizations. This position requires 3-5 years of coordination experience in First Nations contexts and may include travel within the northern region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide communication and planning support to First Nations
• Develop community engagement activities for local initiatives




• Identify health care needs to inform planning activities
• Collaborate with regional teams and community leaders
• Facilitate meetings and maintain effective relationships
Requirements:
• University degree in Health Sciences or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in community engagement
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• Knowledge of First Nations health systems
• Solid communication skills in oral and written formats
