TIG/GTAW Welder - Day Shift - Full Time

T I G W E L D E R. EM Characteristics is a leader in production of steel products and seeks dedicated Associates to contribute to our success in a busy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Weld aluminum, stainless steel, and steel using TIG (GTAW) processes. Aluminum welding capability is a must.
- Operate in a busy setting with strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
- Work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Support continuous improvement and maintain a safe, clean work setting.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years TIG welding experience.
- Capacity to weld aluminum, stainless steel, and steel; aluminum welding capability required.
- Canadian Citizens, PRs, or valid Work Authorization holders will be considered.
- Live in the Greater Toronto Area.




- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Strong team player; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Supplemental language: English not required.

Terms of Employment

- Shifts: Day Change, Full Time.
- Wage: $25.00-$30.00 per hour; OT paid.
- Anticipated Start Date: ASAP.
- Location: Scarborough (McCowan & Sheppard).
- Job Types: Full Time (Day Shift) Permanent; Benefits include safety footwear and safety glasses; access to on-site gym; clean, well-ventilated welding cells with best-in-class fume ventilation.
