The Addictions Navigator will provide essential services that cater to the comprehensive well-being of Indigenous women and their families. You will be instrumental in addressing issues related to substance abuse and mental health from a cultural and trauma-informed perspective. Your role involves direct advocacy and support within diverse community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver holistic addiction recovery services
• Educate clients on cultural support practices
• Advocate for mental health strategies
• Provide evidence-based counselling solutions
• Versatile work from home and office options
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, 2-year diploma acceptable
• 3 years’ relevant experience with Indigenous communities
• Comprehensive knowledge of gender and trauma issues
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
• Valid Ontario class “G” license and reliable transportation
