The First Nation Support Worker focuses on enhancing educational experiences for students at Port Hardy Secondary School. Key Responsibilities:
• Support the educational program for all students
• Assist individual and small groups with classroom tasks
• Monitor student progress and academic achievements
• Collaborate with staff for smooth student transitions
• Participate in the First Nations Program Team
Requirements:
• Secondary school graduation or equivalent
• Minimum one year of post-secondary education related to the field
• Understanding of Kwakwaka’wakw culture and traditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in documentation and records management
