As part of the rehabilitation team, this role focuses on assessing patients’ needs and coordinating comprehensive care plans in an acute care environment. Working collaboratively with families and the interprofessional team, you will ensure effective health management in a nurturing workplace. This position is set to last until July 2027 or until the return of the current nurse, providing valuable experiences for enhancing patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out detailed patient assessments and interventions
• Collaborate with families for personalized care plans
• Prioritize and coordinate patient nursing care
• Participate in quality improvement and research initiatives
• Mentor new nursing staff and provide support
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Active registered status with BCCNM
• One year of recent related acute care experience
• Strong teaching and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in an interprofessional setting
