Become a Constable with CN to ensure security and response capabilities in a 24/7 operation. Engage in law enforcement, emergency calls, and community safety initiatives.
This role is critical for responding to security needs and bridging connections with local law enforcement. You’ll develop strategies for safety compliance and engage in public speaking about railway safety. Expect to work flexible schedule, including shifts, weekends, and holidays, across a vast geographical area, maintaining a strong focus on safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to emergency calls and security requests
• Establish partnerships with law enforcement and organizations
• Develop action plans for high-risk locations
• Investigate criminal incidents and enforce safety laws
• Deliver public safety presentations as needed
Requirements:
• Accredited law enforcement program or equivalent
• Certification in First Aid and CPR
• Reside within 50 km of the position
• Bilingual in English and French, both written and verbal
• Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment
Protect the community and contribute to railway safety as a Constable at CN.
