Overview

Engineering drawing and CAD Technician role focused on producing and validating drawings, documentation, and related bids.

Responsibilities

- Create and ready engineering drawings and designs.
- Operate CAD and drawing workstations.
- Produce drawing sets and complete documentation bundles.
- Check and validate design drawings to ensure adherence to specifications and design data.
- Report technical information.
- Construct contracts and bid paperwork.
- Create construction specifications and estimate costs and materials.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or design.
- Certification in CAD.
- Experience as a CAD technician (preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in CAD and AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and translate blueprints and technical drawings.
- Basic comprehension of mechanical and construction design procedures.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management abilities.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently on projects.
- Solid communication abilities.

Employment Details

- Full time, permanent position.
- Hours: 30 to 35 per week (day, early morning, morning).
- Salary: $31.00 - $40.87 per hour.
- Experience: 2 years minimum.
