This full-time position is pivotal for maintaining a welcoming Family Room at the University Hospital of Northern BC. You will oversee staff, manage supplies, and ensure that all visitors feel at home. With your leadership, families will experience compassionate support during challenging times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and supervise Family Room staff and volunteers
• Manage supplies and offsite purchasing as needed
• Ensure security and safety of the Family Room
• Greet families and provide orientation upon entry
• Oversee housekeeping and laundry services
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in a relevant field
• 2-3 years in nonprofit or hospital settings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Valid BC Driver’s License required
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
