Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

Experience

- Minimum four years related community experience working with people who have serious and enduring psychiatric illness’; combination of institution and community experience will be considered.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

- BScMH, Bsc.PN, BN, RPN, RN.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

- Registered with the College of Nurses of Manitoba.
- Registered with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba.

Qualifications and Skills

- Knowledge of:
- Relevant legislated acts including but not limited to Personal Health Information Act, Protection of Persons in Care Act, Mental Health Act, Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS),



Principles of Routine Practices (Universal Precautions).
- Regional/site/unit policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines relating to clinical care.

- Working with individuals from diverse cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds.
- Working knowledge of treatment, rehabilitation and support in mental health.
- Skills in assessing, planning, development and coordination of support services.
- Working knowledge and experience in working with people experiencing addictions.
- Subject to a criminal record check.

Physical Requirements

- Valid driver’s license and vehicle required.

This Indefinite term may expire subject to twenty-four (24) hours of notice of the current incumbent returning to their position.
