Lead digital health initiatives with Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services as their VP Digital Health and Chief Information Officer. Provide strategic oversight for health program integration and technology alignment.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, the VP Digital Health & CIO reports directly to the President and CEO. This permanent full-time role requires strong strategic and operational leadership to develop health services that are efficient, and responsive. You'll also be responsible for managing data governance and IT security across the provincial health authority.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic oversight on healthcare IT and information management • Lead the integration of data governance and health programs • Ensure the protection and privacy of patient health records • Drive interoperability and evolution of CorCare health system • Communicate recommendations regarding technology and operations
Requirements: • Minimum seven years in a senior leadership role • Master’s Degree in relevant field required • Robust background in health informatics and cybersecurity • Proven ability in project management and risk management • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
