Enhance the student learning experience at the University of Guelph as a Teaching Support Instructor Technician. Support course design and delivery across various learning environments, including lab and field.
The Department of Integrative Biology is seeking a full-time Teaching Support Instructor Technician for a temporary role from August to December 2026. The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty to develop and deliver engaging course materials for undergraduate and graduate students. This role also includes mentorship and training of teaching assistants, contributing to curriculum development, and fostering educational outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop course content for diverse learning formats
• Prepare and maintain lab and field teaching resources




• Mentor graduate teaching assistants and student volunteers
• Participate in departmental committees and outreach events
• Evaluate and improve course content and assessments
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Biology or related field
• Minimum one year of teaching experience at university level
• Solid communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of biological principles and lab procedures
• Valid Ontario G driver's license
