Reporting to the Vice President, Innovation, Corporate and Strategic Partnerships, this role leads corporate fundraising strategy, team performance, donor and partner relationships, and revenue growth across local, national and strategic markets.The Director leads a team responsible for corporate fundraising, partnership development and sponsorship growth, while also managing a personal portfolio of high value corporate donors and prospects. This role works closely with colleagues across Philanthropy, Community Engagement, Events, Communications and campaign leadership to identify shared opportunities, strengthen stewardship and maximize corporate support for kids, youth and families served by CHEO.About YouYou are a strategic, data driven fundraising leader with a clear track record of building corporate partnerships, managing pipelines and implementing growth strategies. You use data, relationship insight and sound judgement to focus effort where it will create the greatest value.Primary ResponsibilitiesStrategic Growth and Portfolio LeadershipDevelop and implement corporate philanthropy strategies aligned with CHEO Foundation’s strategic plan, revenue goals and campaign priorities.Grow and manage a strong corporate pipeline, with a focus on major gift opportunities, sponsorship growth, employee engagement, philanthropic partnerships and long‑term relationship development.Use data, pipeline reporting, market insight and performance trends to inform strategy, prioritize opportunities and support revenue growth.Corporate Donor and Partner RelationshipsManage a personal portfolio of corporate donors and prospects, developing strategic relationships and advancing high value gift opportunities.Lead and support corporate solicitations connected to campaign priorities and ongoing needs.Ensure corporate donors and partners receive thoughtful, consistent and high‑quality stewardship aligned with Foundation‑wide standards.Represent CHEO Foundation with corporate donors, partners, volunteers and community stakeholders in a way that strengthens trust, credibility and long‑term engagement.National Programs and Cross Foundation CollaborationLead and support CHEO Foundation’s participation in national corporate giving programs, such as Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations and Children’s Miracle Network.Work collaboratively with fundraising colleagues, campaign volunteers and senior leaders to leverage relationships, align strategies and advance shared opportunities.Partner with Philanthropy, Community Engagement, Events, Communications and other internal teams to identify shared prospects and integrate corporate opportunities across Foundation priorities.Team Leadership and PerformanceLead, coach and develop direct reports, setting clear goals,



priorities and accountability structures.Establish the team’s performance framework, including KPIs, OKRs, pipeline activity and revenue progress, and use regular reporting to support accountability, coaching, prioritization and continuous improvement.Build team capability in prospecting, relationship management, stewardship, proposal development and major gift strategy.Budget, Resource and Data ManagementManage corporate philanthropy budgets and analyze the ROI of resource allocation across corporate philanthropy activities.Monitor revenue performance, pipeline health and portfolio activity, making recommendations to strengthen results and focus resources effectively.Ensure effective use of Raiser’s Edge, Asana, moves management reporting and other tools to support planning, tracking, accountability and decision making.QualificationsProgressive and significant experience in corporate fundraising, business development, sponsorship, partnerships or major gift fundraising, with a proven track record of success.Demonstrated experience developing and implementing growth strategies, managing pipelines and advancing high value donor or partner relationships.Experience with major gift or partnership opportunities valued at $1,000,000 or more is strongly preferred.Experience leading, coaching and developing staff and volunteers, with the ability to set priorities, support accountability and build a healthy team culture.Demonstrated ability to use data, reporting and performance metrics to inform strategy, track progress and improve outcomes.Strong relationship building, communication and influencing skills, including comfort working with senior leaders, volunteers, corporate partners and internal colleagues.Strong organizational, accountability and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a agile fundraising environment.Experience using Raiser’s Edge or a similar donor database, Asana and moves management reporting.A commitment to advancing equity, diversity, inclusion and Indigeneity.Bilingualism in English and French is strongly preferred.Application ProcessPlease send your resume with a cover letter to with the position title in the subject line.
