As an Attending Physician, you will oversee the medical care of 22 patients, guiding their recovery and preparing for their next steps while abiding by important regulations. Expertise in handling patients with established diagnoses and low risk for rapid decline is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend to patients twice weekly with timely assessments
• Complete admission History & Physical within seven days




• Handle urgent patient concerns via telephone 24/7
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds weekly, as available
• Review medications monthly with nursing and pharmacy
Requirements:
• Valid medical license in Manitoba
• Good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons
• WRHA Medical Staff Appointment necessary
• Malpractice coverage from a recognized body
• Ability to manage patient care in a non-hospital setting
