About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Procurement to take on a newly created leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of procurement strategies that ensure a consistent supply, optimize cost structures, and strengthen partnerships across the fresh produce supply chain. This executive position requires a strategic leader with a strong background in procurement, sourcing, or agricultural supply chain management, particularly in the potato and fresh produce industry. The VP will be accountable for global procurement strategy, grower and supplier network management, team leadership, supply planning, inventory optimization,



financial and performance management, quality and compliance oversight, risk management, and market intelligence.

Applicants for the Vice President of Procurement role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in procurement, sourcing, or agricultural supply chain management is required, with a focus on the potato and fresh produce industry. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in multi-site and North American procurement operations, deep expertise in fresh produce sourcing, and robust commercial acumen. The ideal candidate will have exceptional negotiation skills, the ability to manage complex supplier and grower networks, and a demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Advanced analytical, financial, and forecasting capabilities, as well as strong communication skills with executive presence, are essential. Experience in cross-border sourcing environments and the ability to travel frequently across North America are also key requirements.
