In this executive role, you will be the primary legal advisor, guiding both the Board of Governors and Senate on matters of governance, compliance, and policy. Your leadership will be essential in safeguarding the university's interests through effective legal frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct governance and legal oversight for university operations
• Advise on complex legal, regulatory, and compliance matters
• Liaise with multiple governance bodies for productive operations




• Manage external legal counsel and represent the university
• Develop and implement institutional governance policies
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor or equivalent legal degree required
• 10+ years of relevant, progressively responsible experience
• Skilled in governance and policy development
• Experience in post-secondary education is an asset
• Strong ability to influence and lead within complex environments
