The person in this role plays a key part in coordinating and advancing enterprise applications that support Simons' business operations. Reporting to the Director, IT – Enterprise Application Technologies, this individual leads a team of Technical Analysts, coordinates team activities, and ensures the quality of technical analyses, as well as the performance, stability, and evolution of the enterprise application portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop Technical Analysts to foster professional growth, autonomy, and high-quality deliverables.
- Coordinate team priorities, assignments, and activities to ensure efficient execution of work and timely delivery of commitments.
- Oversee activities related to the performance, stability, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise applications, while monitoring continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review and validate technical analyses, recommendations, and documentation produced by the team to ensure quality and consistency.
- Manage major application incidents, coordinate corrective actions, and collaborate with technology partners to resolve application-related issues.
- Contribute to the governance of the enterprise application portfolio by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and driving continuous improvement of team practices.
Desired Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in Information Technology, including two (2) to five (5) years in a coordination, supervisory, or technical leadership role.
- Significant experience in technical analysis, application support, systems integration, or enterprise systems operations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications, system integrations, and complex technology environments.
- Experience with IBM i (AS/400), RPG, APIs, integration platforms, Kafka, or similar technologies is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, excellent coaching abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Recognized for strong analytical skills, attention to detail, collaboration, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English, both verbally and in writing.
