Purpose
- This role is responsible for providing a variety of services related to the everyday banking needs of members in person, by phone, email, or through the mail.
- Responsibilities include processing deposits and withdrawals, making bill payments, supporting members with banking options including online banking,
and identifying opportunities to connect members with additional products and services that support their financial well‑being.
- This position also balances daily transactions, verifies cash totals, and ensures all work is completed in accordance with security and privacy procedures.
What You’ll Do
Deliver Exceptional Member Service
- Build strong member relationships by providing friendly, personalized, and professional service.
- Respond to member requests and inquiries and assist with resolving routine account issues.
- Support members in understanding banking products, services, and digital banking options.
- Identify opportunities to refer members to other departments to support their financial well‑being.
Gain Experience in Retail Banking Operations
- Process a variety of member transactions including: Deposits and withdrawals, Loan and bill payments, Account transfers, Wire orders, certified cheques, and Term deposits
- Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals accurately.
- Follow audit, privacy, and security procedures and policies.
- Support branch operations and assist other departments as needed.
