Become the Community Engagement Lead with the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) in Edmonton. This full time role focuses on building relationships within the community and advocating for Canadian Muslims.
As the Edmonton Regional Lead, you will connect with masajid, organizations, schools, and community leaders. This position requires hands-on engagement, managing volunteers, and promoting NCCM's mission. Your work will help ensure community visibility, accessibility, and support for NCCM’s initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build relationships with masajid and community organizations
• Coordinate outreach events and community engagements
• Represent NCCM at public meetings and conferences
• Recruit and train regional volunteers effectively
• Maintain accurate outreach activity records
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
