SLB is seeking a safety-focused and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician based in Calgary , Alberta . In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, repairing, and preparing equipment to support operational requirements and ensure on-time delivery. You will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Product Line teams to maximize equipment reliability, improve asset utilization, and support efficient service delivery. Roles And Responsibilities

- Maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable maintenance programs, reliability-centered maintenance strategies, and standard work procedures.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) systems to accurately document maintenance activities, labor, materials, and equipment history.
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and readiness.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing asset utilization and reducing the cost-of-service delivery.
- Participate in efforts to improve asset turnaround time by reducing maintenance-related downtime, equipment failures, and work-in-process.
- Assist with repair, refurbishment,



and component reuse programs to maximize asset value and operational efficiency.
- Participate in equipment failure investigations and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications And Experience

- Technical diploma, trade certification, or post-secondary education in Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Heavy Equipment, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in mechanical maintenance, equipment repair, manufacturing, oilfield services, or a related technical workplace.
- Experience working with preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, maintenance procedures, and equipment specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
