About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP, Finance to lead the evolution of its finance function and support the organization's significant growth. The successful candidate will be the most senior internal finance leader, responsible for the integrity of financial reporting, cash visibility, internal controls, and the enhancement of finance processes and systems. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day finance function, managing close processes, and providing strategic financial analysis to support decision-making. The VP, Finance will also be involved in mentoring the finance team, championing finance transformation initiatives, and collaborating with operational leaders to strengthen financial visibility.

Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' progressive accounting experience, with a CPA designation or equivalent. Robust knowledge of the full accounting cycle, including financial reporting, and experience in managing finance operations across multiple legal entities, are essential. The ideal candidate will have a track record of improving finance processes, implementing controls, and driving systems enhancements, particularly within a growing organization. Exposure to cash management, budgeting, and forecasting is an asset, and a background in real estate development or a related project-based industry is also beneficial. The role requires a strategic thinker who can influence decision-making, lead finance transformation, and is adept at building scalable processes in a high-growth environment.
