Heavy Duty Mechanics are needed at Agnico Eagle Mines’ Meliadine Mine in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. This role involves maintaining and repairing mobile mining equipment in a dynamic underground mining environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work a fly-in/fly-out rotation with accommodations provided on site.

What You’ll Need
- College Diploma in Mechanical Technology or Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or equivalent
- Inter-Provincial (Red Seal) Certification
- 3 years’ experience with heavy equipment maintenance in an underground mining setting
- Knowledge of A/C, hydraulic, and electrical system 12/24 volts troubleshooting
- Underground hard rock mining modular training certificate or equivalent
- Ability to work in English (official working language at Meliadine)
