In this crucial role, the General Surgeon reports to the Head of the Local General Surgery Division and Medical Director. You will assess and manage urgent and non-urgent clinical situations, delivering surgical care using both open and minimally invasive techniques. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care across various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patients with complex digestive and trauma conditions
• Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures with precision
• Manage perioperative care for patients of all ages




• Direct trauma teams and conduct urgent assessments
• Collaborate with specialists for multidisciplinary care
Requirements:
• Degree from a recognized medical school
• Licensure in general or cardiac surgery
• Previous experience (1-3 years) preferred
• Active member of the Canadian Medical Protective Association
• Strong patient service and communication skills
