Join Northern Health as a Licensed Practical Nurse in McBride, dedicated to compassionate, patient-centric care. Your role will focus on nursing assessments and developing individualized care plans.
In this position, the LPN is responsible for the nursing care of patients, adhering to established nursing protocols and practices. You'll engage in team-oriented efforts with RNs and other healthcare team members, assessing and addressing the physical, spiritual, and psychological needs of those in your care. This challenging role also involves active participation in meetings and providing essential support during shifts that rotate from day to night.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients/residents
• Draft and evaluate patient care plans regularly




• Participate actively in care assessments and documentation
• Attend meetings to discuss patient care strategies
• Assist with orientation for new employees and students
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nurse program
• Current registration with BCCNM as an LPN
• Basic cardiac life support certification required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate related medical equipment
