Your Role
As a Facility Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the handling of crop inputs and the overall execution of processes involved in the operations of the crop inputs facility.
Day to Day
- Handling, unloading and delivering crop input products
- Assisting in warehouse operations: sorting seed, stacking chemicals, transferring bulk product into totes
- Preparing custom application equipment
- Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
- Performing exceptional customer service duties
Required Qualifications
- Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming
- Experience working in a customer service role is a plus
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs)
- Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens
- Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions
