Fraser Health is recruiting a qualified Psychiatrist to operate within its Virtual Psychiatry Unit. Responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, providing outpatient treatment, and leading family and case meetings. You will also play a key role in educating future psychiatrists while fostering solid relationships for continuity of care in treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide remote consultation and outreach to patients
• Assess and treat patients in a virtual environment




• Organize family meetings and plan discharges
• Educate psychiatry residents and medical students
• Advocate for patients' mental health needs and continuity
Requirements:
• Qualified or eligible Psychiatrist
• Adaptability to virtual care settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to patient advocacy
• International Medical Graduate eligibility is welcomed
