Weekly Scheduled Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00

SUMMARY

Provide quality, accurate and timely customer service involving daily processing of financial transactions and opening accounts in a retail banking environment. Introduce bank products and services through outreach to prospects and provide tailored recommendations to existing clients to deepen relationships. Perform related duties i.e. outbound sales calls as required to achieve banking center goals (meet/exceed sales goals/referral goals) and provide support to banking center management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and service

- Provide both teller and platform support to keep client wait times minimal and deliver quality service. Teller support includes daily processing of deposits, handling currency, coin, and cashing checks.
- Platform support includes opening checking, savings, and deposit product services.
- Identify client needs through consultative conversations and recommend products to meet those needs.
- Open and process new demand and time deposit accounts such as savings, IRAs, CDs, and money market accounts.
- Cross‑sell and refer to bank partners to generate new business and deepen relationships.
- Conduct outbound calls to clients and prospects, including special deposit/loan campaigns.
- Assist customers with loan applications for personal/retail needs and hand off processing to appropriate associate.
- Research and resolve problems and respond to client inquiries on account status.




- Deliver excellent client experience and resolve issues promptly.
- Enhance knowledge by attending sales, service, product training, and web-based learning.

Compliance and risk management

- Maintain compliance with bank regulations, policies, procedures, risk management, internal controls, and First Horizon code of ethics.

Operational efficiency

- Assist associates with daily operations and audit controls.
- Support management with on‑the‑job training of current associates.
- Stay informed of operational updates and updates to guidelines.

Perform all other job‑related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or GED; 1 year of teller experience preferred.
- Must pass a background credit check.
- Must comply with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations.
- All candidates must complete the DeGarmo Retail Behavioral Assessment to be considered.
- Assessment takes approximately 12–15 minutes and results must be submitted prior to evaluation.
- Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements.
