To add to this expertise, we are recruiting for a Building Information Model (BIM) Lead for our Winnipeg office location, to join our team-oriented and team focused organization.

As a BIM Lead, you will be responsible for developing conceptual equipment layouts and coordinating all 3D content within our project BIM models.

Position Overview:

Work with

Mechanical Engineers, Process Engineers, Structural Engineers, the design team, Field Operations, and Project Managers

to design equipment and facility layouts within our 3D BIM models.

Participate in project meetings with other designers and engineers to

ensure overall layout and fit up of designed components.

Interact directly with design team to

develop high quality drawings and plans

in accordance with client specifications.

Provide design suggestions

to the Mechanical Engineers, Process Engineers, Structural Engineers and Project Team based on optimal layouts of equipment and buildings.

Qualifications Needed:

Diploma in a technical field such as Architectural Technology or Engineering Technology or a combination of technical education and experience.

Minimum

2-5 years of construction industry experience





required; experience within industrial construction or a design-build environment is considered an asset.

Experience with

interpreting shop drawings, general arrangement drawings, and survey data and drawings

is considered an asset.

Experience with design software such as

Autodesk, Inventor, Navisworks, Autodesk Forma, Revit, and other Autodesk products.

High degree of accuracy and able to

manage multiple details under tight deadlines

and pressure.

Demonstrates

strong communication and collaboration skills , with the ability to

think critically, solve complex problems , and

work effectively across teams .

Travel

requirements are minimal, with only occasional visits to job sites as needed.
