Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full time Assistant Team Leader onsite at our 2nd Avenue Convenience Store/Gas Bar in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

- Model and champion Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles, fostering a strong customer-focused and results-driven culture.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Build and lead a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency.
- Lead the Convenience Store team in providing quality service and convenience.
- Ensure the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards.
- Ensure inventories are managed and protected in compliance with management standards and practices to maintain high levels of accuracy and minimal loss.
- Provide superior leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and feedback.




- Become familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations relating to tobacco, lottery and fireworks.
- Oversee the completion of daily reports, reconciliations, and purchases.
- Champion the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
- Perform minor repairs to assets as required.
- Perform all other duties as required.

Requirements

- 2 years of Retail Convenience Store management experience including Convenience Store operations, knowledge of pumps, fuel, and compliance in a full-service environment.
- Strong interest in and passion for the in-store tackle selection and outdoor lifestyle.
- Fulfill the physical job requirements: standing, working outside and inside, lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
